From the first time I held my dad's Minolta in the late eighties, I was hooked. The first time I used a Mamiya RB67, I was in complete amazement with the quality. Learning to shoot on film is not something everyone can say they have done, as digital photography is more common place. However, there's something to be said for learning the importance in getting the shot on film well before Lightroom or Photoshop became accessible. Looking back, I would not have changed a thing.
Along side that experience I photographed events and concerts for SMG Entertainment a worldwide event and venue management company. If you have ever been in the Wolstein Center in Cleveland, Ohio you've likely seen several of my images mounted on the hallway wall as well as the corporate office. My most memorable experience doing concert photography was shooting Prince which was also the first time I became a published photographer.
Photography has always been the constant in my life. Here I am today, still passionate about tell a story with an image, not words.
